Our parents have a say.... sample comments:
"I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this school. The teachers are very involved with the children's learning and development..."
"This is our son's first experience away from mom & dad on a regular basis. We could not have asked for a more nurturing and stimulating environment to take this first step of growing up. Thank you to every teacher for your contributions."
"We are very pleased with the program and the teachers who truly care for the children and treat them all as individuals with their own ideas and personalities. We wish to thank you once again for your commitment. Thanks."
"We so appreciate being able to have our daughter in a Christian environment where she feels safe, loved and appreciated. What has helped so much is that it is so affordable. Our goal has always been to not have to rely on childcare for our children the first years of their lives. But when we saw how ready our daughter was for a Pre-school situation and heard about St. Thomas a Becket, we thought we would give it a try. We are very happy with our decision. We would like to keep her here!"

Outreach Ministry Assistance:
We recently heard from a single mother parent, who was struggling with the concept of placing her children into the public school system or to continue her children's education at St Thomas a Becket Church Nursery School. The price of continuing with St. Thomas was a little out of her reach. Our 'mom' was so impressed with the level of schooling and the quality of our teachers, evident by the visible improvement of her children's development. As part of this Outreach Ministry, the Board unanimously considered her as a parent in need and approved funding assistance for the 2003-2004 school year. Needless to say we have a very grateful parent, very satisfied and bright students, and an overjoyed Board and teachers.

Additional comments received: (All comments suggesting improvement have been addressed and implemented by the school supervisor).
- For preschool.....parents and teachers get together for 5 minutes at end of day to share a copy of song or concept taught for the day.
- All of you did a fabulous job. Thank you for giving my child such a positive start to his school experience.
- We found the teachers to be very calm, caring and warm. A good environment to leave our child. Please put together a song book.
- I'm very pleased with all aspects of the program. Would love to have a written 'Report Card' for a keepsake.
- Overall very pleased with the programs. So pleased with the Teacher- Children relationships. Would have liked to see more emphasis on Spiritual development.
- For new parents, more info could be supplied for special days....ex. toy sale support, candy for Easter, Christmas gift exchange....The daily communication was great, but extra care should be given to special days info.....
- Extremely happy overall, especially appreciate extras like child ID kit, sight & hearing tests. Little disappointed with Christmas fundraising..., provide list of snacks offered, so parents can also consider to serve at home...
- Ms. Melissa is wonderful, patient and a loving teacher.....A bench at cloak area would be a great asset to the kids putting on and taking off their boots....
- Thank you so much for all of your care and concern regarding my child's emotional, social and self development. I felt the assessment was excellent. The feedback really helps to know what's going on at the school.....helps parents to encourage on strengths and work on weaknesses at home.
- We feel very fortunate to have had both our children attend. Their positive experience will stay with them for many years to come.
